Discussion: The cut was not visible in regards to color or texture change in soil, instead we made an arbitrary cut with regards to the skeleton position and the fact that it was supported and held in its flexed position by the sides of the burial cut. We extended the cut where we needed in order to lift the bones. There has been platforms in the area so it's possible that the cut originally was made into a platform.
