Discussion: This unit is localized on the east side of the hearth. It was a grey color and an oval shape raised with a concave profile. The layer is easily interpreted as a hearth rim, the same as u.30999. It is more likely that both layers belong to the same hearth rim and that subsquently they lost the physical continuity due to the continuous uses and remaking of the hearth.

Note on samples. No flotation sample taken, but sample number was taken before it was realized that the soil would not be enough for all samples.
