Discussion: Pure orange clay used as a preparation layer floor plaster on wall F.6052. Unfortunately the unit was excavated as part of U.22017 so there are no samples related to the unit. It was a very slight unit that sems to be part of the constructional phase of the building. That the clay used was so pure is worth to note. The unit was actually covered by some wall plaster. This was noted and excvated together with U. 22017. Elevations same as unit 22017, as it was excavated as part of that unit. 

Consistency: firm 

Colour: orange/ orangish brown 

Texture: sandy clay loam 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: pure 

Post-depositional Features: animal and root activity 

Basal Boundary: sharp/ constructional
