Description: plaster layer of basin step, U. 22237 

Discussion: This is the basin step in building 52, space 94. Disturbance from animal burrows meant that understanding the connection between this unit and the plaster floor of unit 22236 was clear. There is what seems to be a plaster repair patch that belongs to the older plaster floor layer below this unit. 

Consistency: firm, friable 

Colour: grey, black, brown, white 

Texture: plaster 

Bedding: layered 

Inclusions: stone fragments, bone fragments, roots, organic remains 

Post-depositional Features: disturbances from animal burrows, burning 

Basal Boundary: gradual distiction
