Discussion: This unit was recognized by texture and mixed materials. There was a significant amount of collapsed plaster, brick and mortar. It was excavated with mattock and trowel. Some midden material was also present due to midden on north side of Sp. 552. This deposit is different than main room infill. This layer also contains midden deposit which includes more charcoal and clay balls fragments and stones. 

Consistency: firm to compact 

Colour: light to mid dark grey, light orangish brown 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: occ. animal bones, occ. charchoal frag. 

Post-depositional Features: animal burrow 

Basal Boundary: clear
