Discussion: This unit is part of a series of laminated floors in hearth F. 7402.
It is composed by very fine patches of orangish brown and brown make-up floors, starting in the middle of the southern border of the hearth towards west, then running along the whole extension of the western border and finally reaching half-way of the northern edge length in small patches.
The soil was soft and silty-clay. Inclusions of marls and a little bit of charcoal were observed. The layer was excavated by leaf trowel.
The next step concerning the hearth will be to excavate the superstructure around the borders once it is unlocked by the sunken floor.
