Discussion: U 22408 consisted of massive layer of clay lining in ladder post F.7413. Layer was recognized based on its distinctive yellowish color and extremely friable soil consistency. Unit was revealed as loose material abutting charcoal remnants (U.18963). Similarly to U.22407, which is a constructional ladder platform layer, this layer was likely added to stabilize/restraint of wooden ladder leading on the roof.
This layer is removed in 2017 with Xfind.
