Description: Possible animal bone deposit, foundation??

Discussion: This unit correspond to bones remains exposed close to the eastern edge of the southern wall of B-139 (F8386) after remove the packing layers U23110=23090=23084 and 23131.
This bones were placed directly on the top of the layer U23139 and attached to the eastern edge of the wall. The bones where covered by a kind of plaster layer (U23137) and at the first moment we thought that were human remains. After remove the remains of the U23137 that was sealing the bones, we realize that were animal bones, and at that moment we could not find an explanation for this deposit.
Even that is still not clear and is quite difficult to find a meaning for this deposit, after remove the entire infill of the B-139 one hypothesis is that can be related with the pit U23147 made in that part of the B-139 to probably remove the eastern wall (F8387). The elements that can support this hypothesis are three. The bones were on the top of the U23139 (the last fill of the pit U23147), were placed at the edge of the wall (where is truncated by the pit U23147) and of course by the fact that the bones where placed intentionally, because were covered by a plaster layer, very different for the rest of the deposits around. So, maybe after made the pit, remove the wall and fill the pit again, this bones where placed as an offer.

This unit is the same as 23137 and both has to be considered as the same. We assigned to different unit numbers because at the beginning we thought that were human remains. After that we could not considered this as a cluster because is just one bone, so we decide to keep both numbers. See the discussion of 23137 for more information.
