Description: 23207 was a platform which abutted to Wall 567, in the NE of Building 17. Only the Southern part of this platform survived.

Discussion: Platform 23207 was heavily truncated and only its southern part survived. It's northern part was cut by Oven F8038 and F8206. The extent to which this platform extended to the North is uknown, as this has been partially destroyed by Oven F8038 and possibly Pit F5015. Platform 23207 sits on Pit cut U5178. The lowest layer of platform 23207 was made by mud plaster; the middle by a pise like material, of dark beige colour, sandier than the clayish mud-plaster below. The platform had been covered by lime-plaster on top and at the sides. The limeplaster survived only in patches on the sides.

Consistency: Compact on top and the sides; firm in the middle and bottom

Colour: White on top and partly on the sides; light brown in the middle, off light brown- grey at the bottom, with medium limestone inclusions

Texture: The top and patches on the side was of plaster; the middle was a sandy, lime clay, and the bottom was silty

Bedding: Layered

Inclusions: Small aggregates of plaster and mortar

Post-depositional Features: Heavily truncated in the North, South and the West

Basal Boundary: Constructional, sharp and distinct; smooth surface
