Discussion: Latest surviving ashy fill in FI82 - probably mostly removed by Mellaart excavation and survived here because filling overhand of the S wall. Whilst excavating bits of the plaster lining fell off & therefore mixed into the deposit. The ashy material here was _all_ ash.
Couldn't see nay layers as would expect in accumulative ash, therefore not sure what kind of deposition process this fill represents.

Colour: 10YR 5/2 greyish brown 

Texture: clayey silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: 2% charcoal >2mm; 2% aggregates >2mm; 3% salt flecks <2mm; 50% ash
