Discussion: This unit is a midden layer recognized in external space between the western wall of B.166 and spreading towards the eastern wall of B.44. Unit 23956 as well as further midden layers in this space are excavated and examined in order to establish stratigraphical relationship between these two buildings. This midden contained high number of animal bones and pottery sherds and was partially sealed by midden U.23950.
