Discussion: mud plaster lining to southern wall of F.I 82, formed a baked crust and treated separately however it would be the same application as the later F.I. wall and the crust a result of burning and or scorching 

 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: morning cool & dry 

Consistency: firm 

Colour: surface - 10 YR 6/4 light yellowish brown, back - 10 YR 5/2 greyish brown 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: 30% phytoliths >3 mm 

Post-depositional Features: root activity 

Basal Boundary: breaks off clearly, clear color division but same material as underlying deposit.
