Discussion: Thick midden deposit north of building 1. Abuts walls F1 and F5 but under newly discovered wall immediately north of F1 and F5.

Upon further excavation, appears to be a dump layer rather than a midden deposit, and not particularly thick,

Execution: Trowelled only. 

Condition: moist 

Consistency: firm 

Colour: dark greyish brown (10 YR, 4/2) 

Texture: silt clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: Frequent small/medium sized pieces of charcoal, moderate small pieces of bone, plaster and mud brick. 

Post-depositional Features: Some root and animal activity. Possible truncation/levelling by wall above. 

Basal Boundary: flat / abrupt
