Unit 2651
Category: layer dug in 1997
Area: South
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: wall/blocking
Dimensions: 0.60m(N-S)x1.60m(E-W)
Discussion: We removed the earlier wall 113 and we found the limits of an older wall(wall 142).The wall 142 is later in comparison to the platform 137 which cuts and contemporaneous with platform 133. Wall 142 is big enough and is consisted of mudbricks which are linked with a big mortar with SE-NW direction and gives the expression of a double wall. Wall 142 is bonded with wall 102 and wall 105 and is so big probably in order to neutralise the pressure that wall 102 received in a specific moment, an aspect which is reinforced from the information of the space to the south side of wall 142 which report a quick filling of this space with various objects.
