Dimensions: 0.90 m N-S against wall x c. 0.70 m E-W x c. 0.23 m deep (added 1998)
Discussion: Cut with loose fill (see fill 2847) roughly a quarter of a circle or 1/2 a 1/2 circle with west edge against wall. Cut was half sectioned assumingly continuing beyond section but as yet no signs of cut on surface.
Note: This is only half excavated.
This cut was first excavated in 1997 but underdug therefore this cut contains 2358, 2359, 2360, 2847. Possibly a post removal pit cut and it's fills contained plaster fragments that came off the wall at that time.
Recognition: Infill within cut at surface of 2844.
Definition: Same as 2847.
Execution: Same as 2847.
Condition: Dry at surface, moist towards base.
Shape: Roughly a quarter circle, sharp edge 1/2 sectioned against west wall of Space 112.
Sides: Vertical.
Base Break: Sharp.
Base: Slightly concave.
Orientation: None apparent.
