Discussion: Baked floor showing clear signs of intense rubefaction (bright orange colour, baked and crumby consistency). Gypsum nodules are visible in the contact between the floor and the make-up. The boundary between this unit and the base of the oven below it is marked by a thin (0.1-0.2cm) lamination of calcitic ashes and disaggregated phytoliths.
Consistency: Soft
Colour: Orangish brown (floor) / Light brown (make-up)
Texture: Silty clay loam
Bedding: Compound layered: floor (2 cm) and make-up (1cm)
Inclusions: Calcitic ashes (bottom, contact with base of oven, very abundant), microcharcoal (2% abundance)
Post-depositional Features: Severely bioturbated by burrowing, gypsum reprecipitation
Basal Boundary: Sharp, prominent, smooth, constructional
