Data Category Information: Description: pit

 

Discussion: This cut, with a nice oval semi-rectangular form in plan, was recognized below, containing, U 30599. It is symmetric and regular in its shape. It was cut in the floor. Its regularity and placement in the middle of the space in proximity of F3688 and below F3699, made me first think it was a burial cut, but it was empty. For further discussion see feature sheet. Its regularity can probably be seen as a standardized type of cut made by the inhabitants of the house.
