Presumably post-neolithic fill associated with mud brick and F. 7122.
It is a possibility that we may not actually continue excavating the unit. That it may belong to post-neolithic activity was recognized by the small number of post-neolitihic sherds found within the fill. It seems to be a unit that cuts the neolithic activity to the west. No flotation sample was taken from the unit.
Update 31/07 - After removing some 10 more centimeters of this fill, it became apparent that this unit belongs to the infill of a Building defined by wall F. 7122.
Consistency: Soft.
Colour: Dark brown to dark greyish brown.
Texture: Silty clay loam.
Bedding: Massive.
Inclusions: Orange clay aggregates, charcoal pieces, dark grey clay aggregates, some phytoliths.
Post-depositional Features: Salt, animal, root and insect burrowing.
Basal Boundary: Unclear - arbitrary at the moment.
