Discussion: Geotrench 1:
Infill of B. 123 - heterogeneous but very clear - in terms of not having much finds. Just a few pieces of pottery.
The infill was not entirely removed - the unit was ended arbitrarily. We have not located what the GPR caught during the geophysics survey. The trench / this unit will be backfilled at the end of the season. 

Consistency: Moderately firm. 

Colour: Dark brown. 

Texture: Silty clay loam. 

Bedding: Massive. 

Inclusions: Building materials (plaster and brick) 

Post-depositional Features: Animal, insect and plant activity. 

Basal Boundary: Arbitrary.
