Unit 30234
Category: Cut dug in 2013
Area: TPC
Interpretive Categories: Pit Cut
Data Category Information: Description: pit
Discussion: U. 30234 was recognized as a separate unit due to clearly defined edges (soil changes color from grey to orange). This unit has similar characteristics to other pits found on this site-- quite shallow, has few finds. Eastern/northern edge of the pit is slighlty undercut. U. 30234 is possibly a late pit-- it's cutting into the neolithic building material. There's also a few animal burrows at the basal boundary.
Shape: circular
Sides: undercut
Base Break: slopes in; scoops out on eastern edge
Base: flat
Orientation: N/A
