Discussion: This is an easily recognized unit due to its location within fire instalation F. 1852, its colour and consistency. It has been connected with usage of the oven. The layer has been badly cracked due to burning processes. The basal boundary is clear and distinct. 

Consistency: loose to friable 

Colour: mid brown to dark brown 

Texture: clayish 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: none 

Post-depositional Features: animal burow 

Basal Boundary: clear, distinct, smooth, sloping to the south
