Discussion: This is a relatively small make up layer placed between pit F. 7504 and oven F.1852 in southern part of Sp. 236. it has been easily distinguished because of its different colour and consistency. It could have been connected with the oven usage phase due to charcoals inclusions recorded within the unit. Its basal boundary is clear in its eastern part and connected with earlier layers of oven F. 1852 usage, while in western part basal boundary has been arbitrarily distinguished. 

Consistency: friable to firm 

Colour: light grey to dark grey 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: charcoals (5%) 

Post-depositional Features: none 

Basal Boundary: in Eastern part clear, distinct, in the rest part arbitrary
