Discussion: U. 30471 consists of the infill of pit cut U. 30472. The soil was greyish brown in colour and soft in consistency. Some parts were very burnt and mixed with remains of building material. The infill also presented animal burrow disturbances and small pieces of charcoal. At a depth of about 5cm from the surface, the soil became more firm and clayish, changing in colour as well – to a more orange variation of brown. We still do not know how this unit is related to the units and features in its surroundings and, as no other sediments in the soil were observed, we decided to stop the excavation arbitrarily at a depth of 18 cm, so we can later try to obtain new hypothesis of how it is linked with other units. It was excavated using trowel.
