Unit 30506
Category: Layer dug in 2013
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: fill between features
Data Category Information: Location: between walls; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: Recognized as a fill in between the walls of the space (F2184 & F2182) in E and S and plastered surface of the so far unnamed features incorporated in platform F2177 in W, and the cut U30505 made for the step F 7123. The basal boundary was recognized as a white plaster floor layer and the use/dirty floor just above this floor under the S part of the layer. It was rather heterogeneous, mostly due to the effect of the fire, however in the part not affected by fire, some discontinuous gray patches were visible. The unit 30509 was found in it and might be some kind of foundation event.
Consistency: Firmat the N part, compact at the bottom and the S part.
Colour: dark orange in the fire affected N part. Yellow with greyish patches in the remianing parts.
Texture: silty clay
Bedding: Massive but with small patches of more greyish material.
