Discussion: Primary burial of a juvenile individual lying just above the adult u.30514, and just under the baby u.30513.
It is separated from the baby u.30513 by the textile recorded in the infill.
Its cranium is in direct contact with the forehead of the adult u.30514 (as the forehead of the baby u.30513 was also in contat with the forehead of the adult).
On the cranium of this individual (left side) was found a big artifact of wood (X1) following the shape of the cranium (cf. sketch and photographies). First seen as a potential mask, helmet or hat this artifact actually looks like a bowl "upside-down" covering the cranium. Mellaart mentions in his book some "boat-shaped bowls". Such a description could fit well with this artifact. Indeed the only clear edge we can recognize has a triangulare shape which could look like the front of a boat.
