Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: homogeneous

Discussion: When the infill u.20657 of PLT F.2177 was removed the cut u.30537 in PLT F.2174 was exposed. Indeed, it was not covered by any plaster layer or seal. This suggests that the infill u.30536 of this cut and the infill u.20657 of the upper platform was probably created during the same event (construction of the plateform F.2177 in top of F.2174).

This infill being empty of any objects, it is probably a post-retrieval infill (cut u.30537 being the retrieval cut) and thus the last operation of cache F.7555 emptied before the construction of PLT F.2177. 

Consistency: Firm 

Colour: Light brown with light gray inclusion at the top and becoming reddish at the bottom 

Texture: Silty clay 

Bedding: Massive 

Inclusions: Building materials at the top (plaster and clay - 10%, medium) 

Post-depositional Features: Burrow (rodents) 

Basal Boundary: Very sharp, constructional. A gray floor with a clay-like consistency. Its form is smooth and the contrast is prominent. However, this boundary is different in NE part: Contrast and distinctness are also very sharp but the underneath layer is reddish, very irregular and fragile and seems to be burnt. It could be the infill of a previous cut or an underneath layer reached by cut u.30537 only in this part of the feature.
