Discussion: It was a layer of floor directly below makeup of platform (U.20951). It was probably one of a few phase of occupation in this building because below this layer was another layer of floor. 

Consistency: firm, in E part more friable because of layer below 

Colour: beige, some places orangish or brownish 

Texture: massive 

Bedding: clay

Post-depositional Features: - 

Basal Boundary: visible by smooth layer of another floor below in central and western part (1 - see sketch), in eastern part (2- see sketch) impossible to distinguish because of layer of infill (?) below
