Discussion: This was a patch of floor and level together with u.30544, 30542 and 20909. It was located as part of the ridge between the N and S part in Sp. 17. It was a dark grey stamped floor which contained make up. It was excavated with trowel. 

Consistency: Packed; friable with trowel 

Colour: Greyish brown, flecks of white 

Texture: Clay 

Bedding: Thick and layered with make up 

Inclusions: Secondary carbonates, phytoliths and salts 

Post-depositional Features: None specific 

Basal Boundary: Clear (another floor layer)
