Discussion: This unit was the cut for the construction of the basin F.3699. It was hard to recognize and only in the north and the east part of it was the cut really visible. The cut seems to have been made very thinly in floors and its base concave by earlier floor, and it was made flat by u.30588 and u.30579. It seems the inhabitants cut where they knew it was needed in order to make the base levelled, which was in the east and in the north. The other side is however disturbed by an animal furrow and F7138. The west side had no cut as it was an addition to F3688. 

 

Shape: Almost rectangular 

Sides: Concave base, like a bowl 

Base Break: Very sloping and gradual 

Base: Concave. The base is underlying floor 

Orientation: E-W
