Discussion: This unit covered the central -> eastern portion of the room, sealing many of the features at the perimeter, particularly on the southern side of the space (the bench & pyrotechnic installation). The layer itself was almost all make-up but some remnant patches of plaster remained at the surface in places. 

 

Consistency: Loose to firm. 

Colour: Light grey. 

Texture: Silty clay. 

Bedding: Massive. 

Inclusions: Charcoals, small plaster fragments. 

Post-depositional Features: None noted 

Basal Boundary: Unclear, but clear over plaster.
