Unit 30712
Category: Cut dug in 2013
Area: TPC
Interpretive Categories: pit cut
Data Category Information: Description: pit
Discussion: This is a cut of U.30712. It was quite clearly visible as the soil around was lighter than the dark gray soil of the infill. There weren't any layers visible in profile but actually it seems as if the pit was dug into layer u.30323, which appears to be a part of post-Neolithic truncation that destroyed a huge part of Trench 2.
Shape: irregular - oval in S, straight in N
Sides: sharp - straight
Base Break: straight (about 90 degrees)
Base: flat
Orientation: E-W
