Description: The south side is outside of the limit of excavation. 

Discussion: This layer is situated on the dirty floor in the south part of the building. The unit is close to the hearth. This situation explains certainly that is a layer essentially composed of charcoal. The layer is not very large but apparently we can't excavate all the layer because a part of the layer is under the section.
