Discussion: This cut is localized next to the hearth (feat. 3472), on the north-western side; it is filled by u.30995, a layer made by burned clay and charcoal. The cut and its fill was interpreted as a fire spot, feature 3491. The cut was not so deep; it is more likely that in ancient time it was deeper and subsquently it lost its depth due to continuous use and reuse of this area.
