Discussion: This unit is a thick compound deposit of room fill in the NE corner of space 584. The layer had been limited by partially preserved wall F.8268 on its S side, wall F.8269 on the W side as well as by N and E limit of excavation. Unit distinguished as considerably homogeneous deposit of room fill base on a soil consistency, bedding and texture. Unit excavated down to very dark layer with many organic inclusions. Perhaps room fill is sealing another compound and slightly earlier room fill layer. 

Consistency: soft/friable 

Colour: dark brown 

Texture: sandy-silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: clay, charcoal bits, 

Post-depositional Features: animal burrows, 

Basal Boundary: anthropogenic, abrupt, distinct contrast, smooth form & surface
