Discussion: Upon excavating plan 98/63 further packing fill was discovered for F.99 between a break in the obvious floor surfaces. The packing fill consists of fairly amorphous building material without any layers. My interpretation is that this fill may suggest that F.99 was keyed into wall F.263, with this unit representing a packing fill on the NE side of F.99.
Cut to E, W and N by post occupation scouring (SF).
