Description: oven base
Discussion: Oven base U.32438 is located in the SE part of Sp.551. This unit was recognized by colour, consistency and texture. The origin of the unit was base of oven which is related F.7838. The unit may represent fire activity surface and there was obsidian on the base which is taken as X find(x1). This base was 42 cm thick and eroded on west part of oven F.7838. It was burned, cracked and dark black. This base shows the last usage of the feature. The orientation of deposit is EW. After taking out this base, the foundation of oven identified clearly.
This unit was excavated by trowel.
