Unit 32606
Category: Layer dug in 2016
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: room infill
Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: Room fill in sp.605. This unit was recognized by texture between walls. The origin of the unit was a room infill which consist of more building dumped material. It has got more mud brick, plaster fragments and also more moulded clayish material. These appear to be evenly spread throughtout the deposit. There is change in the deposit composition across up to down deposit. Lower deposit contains more collapsed material which are more similar kind of roof or second storey floor remains. We have indentified this deposits as a trampled layers and appear to be more concentrated toward to center of deposit. There is also change to layer consistency, lower deposit is more compact than upper layers. Bones, stones and other finds appear to be evenly spread throughtout the deposit. The deposit probably was deliberately created in 2-3 episodes. But it was hard to understand relation between each accumulation. These are same types of episodes. This unit located into central room in sp.605. This unit was excavated by mattock and trowel.
