Discussion: Relatively thick (5mm) mid-white plaster (U.32704) overlying horizontally sequence of dirty-floors (U.32707) had been recorded in SE-part of Sp.531. It was exposed under a series of counterpart dirty-floors assigned as U.32070. An exploration of the latter had been ceased after revealing the partially preserved plastered surface (U.32704). The distinct difference evidenced in position of the plaster layer allowed to record the dirty sequences under 2 separate unit numbers (32070 and 32707). Unfortunately it appeared that the plaster 32704 had covered only part of described area. Its extent limited to the close proximity of the Bench F.7879 and its S-face. Apart from the whole Southern face of the mentioned protruded feature (Bench) the white layer extended and coated horizontal surface (up to 0,40m) towards the South and SE directions.
Accordingly, the unit number 32704 refers to the coating located on the bench and nearby floor surface. The noticeable diminish of the scope, and clear truncation might have been involved with intensive activities that took place along the S-wall (F.3679) and the use of Fire-installations.
As regards to the plaster recorded particularly on the bench it comprised of two layers of white coating between which there was a thin grey make-up layer. However the underlaid dirty surface (32707) indicate distinctively the limit upon whom the exploration had been continued (followed). The latter notion may imply that during the occupational phase the bench had been covered by plaster more frequently than adjacent to the south horizontal floor surface.
