Unit 3597
Category: Cut dug in 1999
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: pit cut
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: The bottom of this shalow double dish is smooth and seems continous with the surface surrounding the cut. Although the fill material was closer in resemblance to the midden layer above the platform, according to Ruth's memory, than too the light hard material I have found between floors: I think that this cut is actually a part of the floor that was demaged and than repaired. It is also possible that this cut is bottom of a much later pit.
The base of the cut was very distinct - fill ? and soft; cut bottom hard and covered with a thin layer of white salt.
No baby in a basket this time maybe next time.
- W. cut of S-W platform of space 86
