Discussion: This unit represents a small patch of plastered floor in space 159. This patch must have covered the whole space but probably got worn through time. This patch is also the earliest set of floors in the space. This can be told by its levelling it slopes down from N to S. Its surface was quite smooth but not very clean. There were small flecks of charcoal on it. It peeled off from a quite irregular deposit.
Recognition: Recognised by its colour and texture while excavating (3958) and (3718) before.
