Description: Group of obsidian flakes lying as group witihin slight depression 

 

Discussion: Cluster of quite tightly packed obsidian flakes lying in slight depression. They do not seem to be particularly arranged. The remains of a knapping episode disposed of in a convenient hollow.

Unit description: Flot Number 2330. This is the flot sample taken from one of the obsidian hoards in Building 2. The sample was only 2.5 litres and contained two bones large enough to permit some degree of identification and about a dozen bone chips. The bones are unburnt, but show moderate weathering.
