Unit description: This unit is from the post retrieval pit excavated (or not) by Roddy in 1997 (unit 1873). it lies on top of a group of articulated cattle bones which were excavated as a cluster unit 4142. The bone finds from 4141 consist of bone chips from the flotation sample (2340). Nothing was left for dry-seiving. There were a few small rodent long bones which were bagged with the microfauna.
