Unit 4168
Category: layer dug in 1999
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: floors
Data Category Information: Location: building; Description: general; Material: mixed; Deposition: composite (floor/bedding/plaster/packing/occupation)
Dimensions: 0.6m w-e, 0.4m n-s, 0.01m thick
Discussion: Small area of plaster floor which only survive at northern edge of space 117, presumably because it has been eroded away through use to the south. Probably same as (4165) to west and therefore belongs to phase pre-dating platform F.292. Relationship with platform F.288 unclear - could pre-date of be contemporary.
Probably two plaster floors with thin make-ups in between but possibly more.
Seems very clean.
