Discussion: Backfill in small cut for obsidian cluster 4280. Backfill very similar to surrounding deposit which this cut cuts 4254 but more finely textured . 4254 is interpreted as rakeout associated with fire installation 416.
Recognition: not recognized until the obsidian cluster 4280 was encountered
Definition: fill was definbed (difficult) very similar to the surrounding deposit 4254 , however the difference was noticed in the abundance and size of charcoal
Execution: trowel, leaf trowel , brush - initially half section
Condition: slightly damp close to the surface
Consistency: moderately compact
Colour: mid-grey yellow
Texture: sandy - silt
Bedding: massive
Inclusions: 20% flecks small fragments of charcoal 10% salts flecks and fragments; 5% phytoliths; 2% small fragments of building debris
Post-depositional Features: some root activity and also truncation via Mellaart excavations
Basal Boundary: diffuse, shares charateristics with underlying deposits , however, change felt witht the texture - bala boundary greasy
