Unit description: Flot Sample 2592 - 4 mm completely analyzed Flot Sample 2 - 4 mm completely analyzed Flot Sample 2597 - 4 mm completely analyzed Priority Unit A floor unit which has a fairly normal floor deposit (small fragments, light brown to black, some of the smallest pieces burnt). Some of the fragments seem to belong to recently broken larger fragments and the prehistoric fragment size may have been a bit larger than for other floors. In addition there is the tip of a bone needle, a few small mammal bones (possibly a young badger ulna), a few fish bones, a few microfauna bones and fragments of bird bone. One of the small mammal bones is the proximal end of a metacarpal which may be from the same animal as the metacarpal in 4540. Sample 2 has two bead preforms, using two different techniques. Reminiscent of 4530, which also has beadmaking activity in the rake-out. Last number = 38Figurine Records: Yes
