Unit description: Flot sample 2638 A floor/trample from Building 6. The entire unit went to flotation and the 4 mm fraction was sorted and weighed. The unit is light brown with some small burnt pieces. There is one sheep/goat radius that appears to have recently broken into small fragments. The unit is similar to 4548 and like 4530 appears to be not yet trampled, trample. 4 mm flotation sample #3, 100% sorted, was recorded at a later date for diagnostics only. The material was very fragmented and mostly consisted of sheep sized bone fragments. There were a few identifiable bones. Mostly metapodial or phalanx fragments from caprines. Also present was one half of a neonatal metapodial which had not yet had the two halves fused together.
