Unit description: Flot sample 2779 2780 2781 2782 Bottom spit of the 'stable' layer, under 4715 and 4710. The four flot samples run east - west on a 1 m grid. There is also a small amount of dry seived bone. The colour is a fairly uniform medium brown with avery small amount of small burnt fragments. Only two teeth from the flot samples can be identified to taxa ad there is one carnivore phalanx. There are several large equid and bos fragments from the dry seived material (especially F.13 - 19), which are largely unweathered, but encrusted with clay.
