Category: layer dug in 1999
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: floor
Data Category Information: Location: building; Description: general; Material: mixed; Deposition: composite (floor/bedding/plaster/packing/occupation)
Discussion: This was the last floor in the north-west coner of the building 23, space 178. Moderately firm, approx. 1.8 x 65 x 2cm in dimension, this floor was also in creamish white colour. It is situated on the west side of F 535 and east side of the F 531 and covered almost north-west corner of the building. This floors abutts and overlaps F 531 in sectin but rising up against F 535 which is called a partition wall. It was moderately thick (about 1.2cm) seemed like continued underneath the north wall as well but this will be investigated. This also was the last floor which was visible in the section, therefore flot sample may be the best and that floor in this corner where may be possible chance to compare north east corner floors.
