Data Category Information: Location: feature; Description: hearth; Material: baked; Deposition: single
Discussion: This unit underneath the floors of 4998 after a burnt and collapsed debris. The oven floor was quite a bit destroyed and it was full cracks. It has 1/2 cm thickness and highly burnt. It showed that the cracks must be the result of high temparature and intensive use of the oven. The main damage caused by the thermal changes but at the same time the baase of the oven very well preserved. Thickness of the the floor varied from 1 to 2 cm and it has smooth surface although there were a lot of crackson its surface. That can also be result of the tension which caused by F551 which underlays the oven.
