Unit description: Oven rake-out unit. Sample 2 >4 mm flotation 100% sorted, recorded completely. Small sample with fairly small pieces, but very few tiny rolled crumbles. Striking for the freshness of the surfaces of most fragments. Mostly sheep-size, all body parts represented, but no feet except one tarsal. Little burning, no digestion. Although smaller than 5041, similar feel, and may also contain bone grease preparation remnants, notably a fragment of proximal humerus broken through the articulation. Doesn't seem worked over, rather sweepings from indoor activities. Two pieces of worked bone: one bead, one possible bead but probably base of 'needle'. This seems like a lot for a small unit, and probably reflects domestic activities swept into the rake-out.
